Bill was a long time class racer that turned to small tire No Time (N/T) racing.  Recently, he found a new niche in the world of no prep. It was at the end of last year, his team set out to accomplish yet another feat in Bill’s legendary racing career – they entered the No Prep Kings ‘small tire’ shootout at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. They won the event! Yes, that’s the same No Prep Kings you see on TV. Closing out the season, you would see the twin turbo Camaro in the finals multiple times.

Over the winter, they had a change of heart. The small tire no prep racing wasn’t becoming popular enough to bring in the big cash payouts. With some help from Marty Merillat, Lutz Racing stepped up to ‘Big Tire’ with the intentions to run the full No Prep Kings series. I have all the faith in the world that this team will compete at the highest of high levels. Bill promoted his very first race called Judgment Day No Prep (view the recap) this past weekend down at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio. Keep a close eye on this Father/Son duo they will keep getting faster and faster as they look to quiet the haters.
